Lamentations 3:25-26 (Msg) – “God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God.”

It is good to both hope & quietly wait for God’s salvation! This conclusion was drawn from the historic faithfulness of God in dealing with His people.

Deborah, Esther, Joseph, Daniel, Abraham, David, Ruth, Rahab and many more teach us one thing or the other about waiting on God and rejoicing in Hope!

To wait and hope on God implies that the word of promise is believed, and that without doubting the soul expects its fulfilment.

I read this:

“It is good to wait, inasmuch as in waiting we receive many valuable lessons. A pupil or apprentice puts himself under a master, who promises to teach him a certain branch of knowledge.”

Against all the despair, Jeremiah proclaimed to himself and all others the goodness of hope and patient seeking of God. Let us seek God’s perfect will in every situation and walk with His Holy Spirit through it!

God is still good to those that wait for Him & to those that seek Him!

Seek the Lord today and experience His goodness anew
